Sound Table

Sound Therapy TableThe patented So SoundHearts® and So SoundHeart® Driver (proprietary amplifier) are connected to certain frequencies which Kimba has assimilated to harmonize and balance the chakra system. It is also connected to live microphones to amplify the music Kimba is creating– tailored to your energy field.

This technology was created by Barry Oser, after 30 plus years of experience, research, and development.

These acoustical transducers are strategically embedded within the massage table you will be lying on, delivering the frequencies into your skeletal structure and energy field.

Light & Sound Machine

Sound and Light MachineUsing specific complex frequencies and patterns of various colors of flashing lights and pulsing tones, it is possible to gently and safely guide the brain into various brainwave states. This is commonly known as audio-visual entrainment or brainwave entrainment.

These brainwave patterns are typically grouped into four different categories: Beta, Alpha, Theta, and Delta. Each of these brainwave patterns is associated with various states of mind. Relaxation, meditation, learning, peak performance, stress reduction, and deep sleep.

Kimba offers this subtle but powerful tool as an optional part of her sound therapy journey to help the mind relax and expand consciousness.

Flower Essences

The healing power of nature has been known for as long as humans have existed. Flowers and plants uplift us. Scents give pleasure, and the whole majesty of nature nurtures us. On a more physical level, plants give us food and medicine.

But it is at the invisible level–the level of vibrations and subtle energies– that flower essences operate best. In the 16th century, the alchemist Paracelsus described the healing power of dew from flowers, and in the 1930’s, the homeopath Dr. Bach devoted his life to exploring the use of flowers and plants to create a simple, natural and gentle approach to emotional balance… everything in the world is composed of vibrations, and nature uses these vibrations in various way to provide harmonious templates or patterns that affect our subtle bodies.

Flower essences are herbal infusions or decoctions, made from the flowering part of the plant, which uniquely address emotional and mental aspects of wellness. They are the vibrational imprint of a flower that has been transferred and stabilized in water. Most often the cause of dis-ease starts on the more subtle vibrational levels, and then filters down to the grosser vibrations of the physical body.  Flower essences, like many of the subtle energy technologies Kimba uses, helps to address the root causes of the disharmony, rather than the effects.  Going to the root cause of our health challenges is the foundation of functional medicine– what we are practicing here at Radiance Health.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils–the blood or resin– from plants for healing. They can be inhaled, massaged into the skin, or taken by mouth.

Essential Oils

What are essential oils?
Essential oils are concentrated extracts taken from the roots, leaves, seeds, or blossoms of plants. Each contains its own mix of active ingredients, and this mix determines what the oil is used for. Some oils are used to promote physical healing — for example, for swelling or fungal infections. Others are used for their emotional value — they may enhance relaxation, uplift the mind, and bring clarity and illumination.

What is the history of aromatherapy?
Essential oils have been used for therapeutic and sacred purposes for over 6,000 years. The ancient Chinese, Indians, Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans used them in cosmetics, perfumes, and medicines. Essential oils were also commonly used for spiritual, therapeutic, hygienic, and ritualistic purposes.

Aromatherapy did not become widely popular in the United States until the 1980s. Today, many lotions, candles, and beauty products are sold as “aromatherapy.” However, be aware that many of these products contain synthetic fragrances that do not have the same properties as pure essential oils, and can even be harmful to health.

What is aromatherapy used for?
Aromatherapy is used in a wide range of settings — from health spas, to hospitals. In general, they can help relieve pain, improve mood, and promote a sense of relaxation. Many essential oils, including lavender, rose, orange, bergamot, lemon, sandalwood, and others — have been shown to relieve anxiety, stress, and depression.

The chemical compounds from certain essential oils have been shown to have antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. Evidence also suggests that citrus oils may strengthen the immune system, and that peppermint oil may help with digestion. Fennel, aniseed, sage, and clary sage have estrogen-like compounds, which may help relieve symptoms of premenstrual syndrome and menopause. Many, many other examples of their use abounds.

Gem Therapy

In crystal and gem therapy dates back thousands of years, with these specimens being used in various advanced cultures including Ayurvedic and Taoist medicine.  The various stones used are classically believed to have certain therapeutic properties— physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. The colors red through violet are also associated with the seven main chakra points (which are vortexes of energy, also associated with the endocrine glands) on the body, and may have correspondence to the color of the stone chosen.

During a treatment session, Kimba may intuitively place various gems or crystals on the body.

Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese energy medicine practice for stress reduction and relaxation, that also promotes healing. It is administered the practitioner placing their hands in the energy field of the one receiving, and working with certain symbols and energetic currents that flow from Source through the practitioner into the one receiving.  It is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” or “ki” flows through us, and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s ki is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words — Rei– which means “Creator’s Wisdom” or “The Higher Power,” and Ki– which means “life force energy.” So Reiki is actually “spiritually guided life force energy.”

Kimba is trained as a Reiki master, and may employ this technique as part of your therapy session.

Green Laser Light

Laser light has been shown to help with the  stimulation of the body’s innate mitochondrial healing response– and assists with pain relief, lowering inflammation, and removing stagnation and blockages, to help speed up the body’s natural healing processes… allowing for tissue to regenerate and detoxify.

Laser light (or coherent light) is used within several different wavelengths, and the green laser light (532nm) is very quickly absorbed by the skin and blood. The green laser offers unique benefits such as a deep relaxing effect on the nervous system.  It also helps to re-pattern dissonant (non-coherent) frequencies within the subtle bodies around the human body (in the auric field), such as negative thoughts or emotional states.

In certain studies with the green laser, communication between the cells was re-established to help reduce food allergies, and assist in detoxification… as well as helping the body let go of long-suppressed emotions, trauma and memories.

Kimba uses the green laser during each sound session, along with the various modalities listed above.
